When working with security roles, we often come up with changes to them. And at those times, we might end up with making changes and testing them, shifting through tabs now and then. This could create confusion as to what was the original role security setting, what was changed, what is working, etc.,
To avoid confusion, one alternate I use is, to create a copy of the role that has to be changed. Then perform the changes for the role and do a thorough testing and then finalize the security setting. We can then discard the role that we created, maintaining the updated copy.
